Elizabeth "Liz" grew up in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in Legal Studies and a minor in History.
Elizabeth earned her Juris Doctor degree from Duquesne University School of Law. During law school, Elizabeth participated in the Family Law Clinic and was a Research Editor on the Business Law Journal. Upon graduation, she was awarded the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Award for her academic excellence, commitment to the practice and development of family law, and highest standard for ethical behavior. She was also awarded a Certificate of Recognition for her service, dedication, and commitment to public service. Following law school, Elizabeth worked at Neighborhood Legal Services Association and in private practice, focusing mainly on divorce, custody and protection from abuse matters.
Elizabeth assists clients in all phases of the long-term care planning process. This includes Medicaid eligibility, Veterans benefits planning and traditional estate planning, all with an emphasis on issues specific to aging clients, as well as clients with disabilities. Additionally, Elizabeth assists families planning for children with special needs, including transitioning to adulthood as well as planning for litigation proceeds of injury victims who require important government benefits such as SSI and Medicaid. Elizabeth also has a background in family law matters pertaining to
custody, divorce, and protection from abuse.
Elizabeth and her husband reside in Beechview, PA. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling and taking walks with her husband and their dogs.
